Marshall Sabatini was approached by this family after they purchased a historic 100-year-old home. They had bought it with the intention of providing a modern living environment for their family with an antique feel. Their goal required updating both the kitchen and dining room to suit their entertainment needs. They asked Marshall Sabatini to design a front entrance gate to enhance the stately appeal of the property. The clients also asked us to design a swimming pool reminiscent of the reflection pool, which was once a central feature of the formal garden landscape.
The last phase of the renovation included enclosing the under-utilized wrought iron porch to create an overflow space adjacent to the living room for entertainment purposes. We built an enclosed second floor area directly above the porch and designed a customized walk-in closet, drastically increasing the home’s storage capabilities.
